New ‘X1 ETS Information’ TREX Block for ETS Trades
|
To assist firms in accurately processing the a/c/e Electronic Trading System (ETS) trades, the Clearing Corporation will provide the new X1 ETS Information TREX Block. This block contains additional information for ETS trades. In particular, the complete a/c/e User Sign-On is provided. This provides firms with the information necessary to identify the specific individual that was signed on to the a/c/e system and entered an order. Note that the additional information defined within the X1 ETS Information Block will be available only within the real time TREX messages sent to firms throughout the ETS trading session. No changes will be made to the Trade Register Report or the Register Data file.
Attached is the file format for the new X1 ETS Information Block. The new block will be introduced into production along with the changes for the Reduced (1/4) Tick Spread Contracts. As a result, the new X1 ETS Information Block will be available to firms starting in Mid-January 2001.
Firms that would like to test the X-1 block can receive a generic test file of Reduced (1/4) Tick Spread Transactions from the Clearing Corporation (please refer to Volume 20 Bulletin #341). Contact the Business Systems Group at one of the numbers listed below to arrange at test.
Should you have any questions, please call or e-mail one of the following Business Systems Analysts:
Note: This additional information will not be available on the Trade Register Report or in the Register Data File
