Testing Schedule of Reduced Tick Spread Commodities on a/c/e
|
In Mid-January, 2001, the a/c/e Alliance plans to begin trading in reduced (1/4) ticks for five of the current financial instruments for inter-month differential spreads only (please refer to Volume 20 Bulletin #341 for more details). Beginning Friday, December 22, 2000, firms will be able to receive test files from the a/c/e simulation system.
The a/c/e simulation schedule divides a calendar week into two trading days. Day 1 begins at 10:00 AM Monday and ends at 4:00 PM on Tuesday. Day 2 begins at 10:00 AM Wednesday and ends at 3:00 PM on Friday.
The Clearing Corporation will transmit data to the test queue for firms that have scheduled to receive this information with the Business Systems Group. Firms will receive the real time feed of a/c/e transactions, including the new X-1 block (please refer to Volume 20 Bulletin #354 for more details). The legs of the inter-month differential spreads will be transmitted to test queues as soon as they are created in OTIS.
Firms that will be participating in simulation testing, and want to receive test data transmissions from Clearing, should contact the Business Systems Group at one of the numbers listed below.
