It has been brought to our attention that sensitive delivery information was distributed to firms’ lock boxes yesterday. This information was contained in plain white envelopes listing only the firm number to which it should be distributed. We apologize for this over sight and will institute the following procedure before distributing information to any firms’ lock boxes: When the Board of Trade Clearing Corporation receives information for distribution to a firms’ lock box, it must be in a sealed envelope with the sending firms return name and address on it.
