SUBJECT:	Preliminary Open Interest

Due to a firm’s reporting error, Preliminary Volume and Open Interest reports that were distributed today, February 15, 2000, reflected incorrect Open Interest amounts. The understated amounts particularly impacted the 5 and 10-Year Treasury Notes. The Final Volume and Open Interest reports distributed to the floor at approximately 10:30 a.m. will reflect the correct Volume and Open Interest for the business date of February 14, 2000.
