Giveup System Problems
|
The Board of Trade Clearing Corporation experienced Give-up System problems during last night’s Project A session (at approximately 3AM today, 2/15/00). Consequently all unclaimed and unallocated Give-up transactions from the CBOT and MidAm day sessions of 2/14/00 AND all Project A give-up transactions allocated and/or claimed prior to 3:00 AM were dropped from the Give-up system. Also, BOTCC was unable to load Give-up transactions from 2/14/00 to the reversal screens.
BOTCC has reloaded claimed allocations for reversals and is in the process of reloading the following:
• As-of unclaimed allocations for Exchange 01 and 03 (from 2/14/00 final reconciliation).
• Project A give-ups (Exchange 51) that were allocated and claimed prior to approximately 3:00 a.m.
Firms that have already used Memo Adds to recreate Give-up Summary or changed the original trade record to create a Give-up Summary record will not be impacted. Duplicate Give-up Summary records will be not be reloaded.
