In BOTCC’s® continuing effort to improve system performance for our member firms, a new level of the OS390 operating system will be implemented on Saturday, March 4, 2000. The operating system enhancements scheduled for implementation include the following: • Communications Improvements to support Transmission Control Protocol/ Internet Protocol – TCPIP • UNIX Compatibility • Web Enablement of Mainframe Applications and Systems All system enhancements should be transparent to Clearing Firms and not impact interfaces or applications provided by BOTCC. However, if firms experience MQM, RJE or 3270 emulation connection problems with BOTCC on Sunday, March 5th or Monday, March 6th, please contact our Operations department at 786-5700 or a Business Systems Analyst on Monday, March 6th at 786-5748 or one of the numbers listed below.
