Test Script for New Network
|
The Clearing Corporation is currently in the process of scheduling network testing with member firms that have completed and returned the Member Firm Installation and Test Request Form attached to Volume 20 – Bulletin # 87.
Firms must send in the form in order to schedule testing. Critical dates for the new network cut over are June 12, 2000 and September 1, 2000. (See Volume 20 – Bulletin # 125). Listed below is a test script out line firms can use when testing the new network.
MQM trade submission of futures and options using the TREX record format. MQM messaging including matched messages, real time feeds, confirms, and API interface.
Access to all web based applications will be made available through the Customer Network. Applications include the pay/collect system, reports at BOTCC, and the new ACT system for one-sided entry of EFP transactions. Future bulletins detailing information on how to access the Clearing Corporation’s web through the network will be forthcoming.
Firms should log on to OTIS via TN3270 emulation on a PC, and test access to Trade Entry, Trade Inquiry, Delivery, Exchange Reporting, Open Interest, Give-Up, Trade Status Inquiry, GAINS, and ATOM.
The new Customer Network will route print jobs to any IP network printer and/or the AS400 spool file at the firm’s location. Firms should test both types of printing capability.
E.) FTP (File Transfer Protocol)
Data file transport will be converted from RJE to FTP. The converted files are Large Trader, Open Interest, Related Accounts, SPAN, SAFE, Settlement Prices, Register Data, Delegate Fee File, Broker Firm Edit File, GAINS, and ATOM. Firms are also encouraged to test the Disaster Recovery end of day FTP file of trades and Give-ups in the TREX record format.
