Rollout of Transaction Journal Data Mart
|
Effective immediately, the Board of Trade Clearing Corporation will roll out access to its Transaction Journal Data Mart. Clearing members will be able to use a web browser to access their own historical transaction and position information for the entire year through the BOTCC web page (www.botcc.com). A link exists on the right side of the BOTCC web page, or access is available through the 'firm login' link. Enter the required user i.d. and password, click 'corporate documents', choose from the report selection, highlight the firm number (or division if applicable) and date, click 'run query'. The system may take a few moments to retrieve the necessary report. No additional software or hardware is required to be installed to access the Data Mart. BOTCC staff will integrate suggestions and recommendations into future queries.
Many queries are currently available for immediate use. Firms can choose from viewing their futures; options; futures and options by commodity or executing broker, as well as position and out-trade information. The report data can be downloaded easily to a user's spreadsheet software for further manipulation or printing. For example, the Data Mart can be used to research the volume of a specific trader or broker for a specific commodity. The results can then be disseminated to specific departments or other end users.
To obtain access to the Data Mart, please fill out the attached User Id and Password Update Form and submit it to the Business Systems Group via fax at (312) 768-0152 or by email to BSG@botcc.com. Each clearing firm will be provided access for two users.

Firms should complete the appropriate section of this form and submit it to the Business Systems Department located in Suite 1430 of the Board of Trade Building or E-Mail to BSG@botcc.com. Only one update request should be submitted per form. This form must be signed by a manager or above of the firm.
