Production Conversion to Customer Network
|
The Clearing Corporation is in the process of testing the new Customer Network with member firms. Many firms have completed the testing process and are ready to convert to the new Network for production access. To minimize risk and avoid any confusion, all MQM conversions to the new Network will take place on Tuesday and Thursday at 7:00 am. The FTP file conversion will also take place on Tuesday and Thursday at 11:00 a.m.
The next scheduled dates for firms to be implemented into production are Tuesday, February 13, and Thursday, February 15. Firms that wish to be scheduled for these dates should inform the Clearing Corporation by Friday, February 9. To convert to the new network, the attached form must be received by BOTCC the Friday preceding the implementation date. Firms will be able to selectively convert to the FTP process either by receiving all files via FTP or selecting the files they would like to start receiving via the FTP process.
As a reminder, any items associated with the SNA network that remain in use will continue to be charged to the firm in addition to the New Customer Network Connection Fee. The fixed charges pertain to Equipment rent and/or maintenance and include Terminals, BOTCC Xerox printers, Device and Port Connections, T1 Lines and Back-up Phone lines.
