New Member Inquiry Terminal Demonstration
|
A new Member Inquiry Terminal, which enables Members to view trade detail and update opposing firm and broker information, has been installed outside of the Wheat pit. A Business Systems Group Representative will be available to demonstrate Broker Terminal Inquiry functionality to Floor Members from 8:45 a.m. to 9:15a.m. on the following dates:

Location of the Member Inquiry Terminals
• One terminal is located outside the wheat pit. (NEW)
• Three terminals and one printer are located by the Weather Map area at the entrance of the Grain room (Mansfield).
• Four terminals and one printer are located between the Mansfield room and the financial floor.
• One terminal is located at the entrance of the Financial room on the right-hand side.
• One terminal is located outside the Five-Year pit.
• One terminal is located outside the Five-Year options pit.
• Two terminals are located outside the Thirty-Day Fed Funds pit.
• One terminal is located outside the U.S. Treasury Bond Options pit.
• Four terminals are located in the Trade Checking area
• Two terminals are located at the MidAm entrance.
• One terminal is located in the Market Information Department, suite 336-A.
How to Operate the Member Inquiry Terminals
• The screen should be ready; however, if not, press ENTER.
Ø If the screen will not appear, call 786-5700 and ask for the Business Systems Group or Operations. Inform them that the Member Inquiry terminals need to be reactivated.
• A password is required to access Member Inquiry Terminals. If you have not been assigned a password or need to obtain your current password, contact the Chicago Board of Trade’s Market Information Department at 435-3633, suite 336-A. Current passwords can also be attained by contacting the Business Systems Group at 786-5732.
• Skip the User ID by pressing the ENTER key.

• To correct the Opposite Broker and/or Firm Field, hit the TAB SKIP key. Type in correct member acronym and or firm. Press the ENTER key.
• To print, press the PRINT key.
To Correct Terminal
• If the screen is blank, press the SPACE bar.
• If the terminal is locked, press the RESET key.
• If problems persist, contact the Clearing Corporation at 786-5712.
