Enhancements to the Processing Schedule for Option Expiration
|
Effective Saturday, July 28, 2001, the Clearing Corporation will add four trade match cycles to Expiration processing. These newly scheduled trade matches will run at 7:00, 7:30, 7:45 and 8:00 AM and will update expiring option contracts only. Currently, two match cycles are run, one at 8:30 AM and one at 10:00 AM. This implementation will allow firms to see the matched status of their expiring trades online and give them time to make changes before the 8:30 AM adjustment deadline.
