Monthly ATOMŽ Reports
|
In an effort to offset rising printing costs, the Clearing Corporation will be revising the ATOM report format. Beginning with the November ATOM payment cycle (available the first week in December) the current 2-ply carbonless form will be replaced with an enveloped statement. The October ATOM payment cycle (available the first week of November) reports will be the last reports available in their current format.
The following ATOM reports will be affected by this change:
ATOM - Broker’s Monthly Banking Summary for Fee Payment BFR00013
Preliminary (1st business day) and Final (3rd business day)
ATOM - Broker Rejected Banking Summary for Fee Payment BFR00048
For the convenience of the exchange members, a pilot program is currently underway to make these reports available over the Clearing Corporation’s Website at http://www.botcc.com. Members interested in participating in the pilot program should complete the attached form and drop it off at the CBOT Market Information department, suite 336 or at the Clearing Corporation, suite 1460. You can also complete the Pilot program form on our website at http://www.botcc.com. An email address is needed to participate. The Business Systems Group (BSG) will contact Exchange Members wishing to join the pilot program. Future plans for Internet access include the ability to retrieve the 12 previous months of archived ATOM reports.
The Clearing Corporation anticipates that by March 2002, the standard distribution of these reports will be via the Internet rather than hard copy print. After that time printed hard copy reports will be made available to exchange members for a fee. Additional information will be announced with future bulletins.
