Effective Friday, September 28, 2001 at 12:00 noon, the following contracts will no longer be pit traded on the MidAm floor. Beginning on Sunday for business dated Monday, October 1, 2001, these contracts will be traded exclusively on the a/c/e platform as CBOT mini-sized contracts:

*Contract size of the 30-Yr. Bond (YH) and the 10-Yr. Note (YN) futures are $50,000.00. The minimum tick value of the 30-Yr. Bond will be $15.625. The 10-Yr. Note trades in ½ ticks and its minimum tick value will be $7.8125.

Firms must report open interest and large trader for the business day of September 28, 2001 using MidAm Exchange/Commodity codes. Cleared positions in the MidAm products will be converted to the new CBOT a/c/e products effective with Monday’s business. Any trades that remain unmatched after Friday, September 28, 2001 will need to be deleted and resubmitted under the new a/c/e commodity code.

Pending Board of Trade approval, on Friday, September 28, 2001 at 12:00 noon, the following contracts will cease all pit trading on the CBOT floor. Beginning on Sunday for business dated Monday, October 1, 2001 these contracts will be traded exclusively on the a/c/e platform:

Also effective on Sunday for business dated Monday October 1, 2001, the following new product will begin trading on the a/c/e platform:

Contract specifications for the mini-sized Dow^SM are identical to the current Dow^SM contract with the exception of the contract size, which is 1/5 of the current, full-sized Dow^SM contract.
