With the implementation of Give-up processing on the ACT system, the Clearing Corporation will no longer support Real Time Feeds of give-up data. The Clearing Corporation will only support the Give-up Application Program Interface (GAPI) to transport messages to and from firms. To facilitate conversion to GAPI, the Clearing Corporation offers firms the capability to receive GAPI messages to its production queue in addition to the current MQM Real Time Feeds. This parallel processing of production data will aid firms in the conversion to GAPI messaging by giving back offices the ability to compare GAPI messages to real time feed give-up duplications via MQM. Firms that wish to participate in GAPI parallel processing must complete the attached form and submit it to the Business Systems Group via e-mail to bsg@botcc.com or by fax at (312) 786-0152.
