MQM Best Practices

The Board Of Trade Clearing Corporation strongly recommends that all member firms have a trade recovery system that has the capability to retransmit trades to Clearing.
In the event of circuit or connectivity loss where an MQM sender channel is in INDOUBT status, the Clearing Corporation recommends utilizing the “Resolve with Backout” option when restarting the channel. This action will send any messages that may have been in the queue when connectivity was lost. In the event that information is sent more than once, the Clearing Corporation will not process the duplicate record IDs.
