Allocation and Claim Transaction System, ACTTM – Give-up Processing for ETS and Pit Trades
|
On Friday, November 8, 2002, application enhancements and hardware upgrades to help ensure system performance were implemented and monitored very closely by the ACT development team. In addition, the Clearing Corporation visited firms’ back offices to test ACT system response time and firm readiness.
Upon reviewing the data accumulated from a total of 36 firm visits, the Board of Trade Clearing Corporation has decided to reschedule the November 15th implementation of give-up functionality on the ACT System. This will provide additional time for firms to upgrade to the recommended software, hardware, and network connection to access ACT, and allow the ACT development team time to fine tune system performance.
The Clearing Corporation will continue to conduct back office visits to monitor ACT system response time at firm sites. The date to migrate give-ups to the ACT System is planned for early December 2002.
