Allocation and Claim Transaction System, ACTTM – Give-up Processing for ETS and Pit Trades, Friday, December 6, 2002
|
On Wednesday, November 13, 2002, the Clearing Corporation announced that give-ups would be migrated to the ACT System in early December 2002. Since then, application enhancements and hardware upgrades to help ensure system performance were implemented and monitored very closely by the ACT development team. In addition, the Clearing Corporation visited firms’ back offices to test ACT system response time and firm readiness.
Based on the analysis of the performance gathered from the system, firm site visits and feedback from members of the Operations Task Force, the date to migrate give-ups to the ACT System has been scheduled for Friday, December 6, 2002. All give-up allocations and claims for pit and a/c/e trades will be performed on the ACT system.
