SUBJECT:	Large Trader Position Information (P6) Layout Changes

The Clearing Corporation will be making changes to the Large Trader Position Information (P6) FTP file so as to accommodate the reporting of all futures and option contract large trader positions. Firms wishing to use the new layout may do so for Large Trader reporting for the April 11, 2003 business day. When using the Large Trader Position Information (P6) file, Flex fields can either be left blank or can be zero filled for non-Flex contracts. The Flex fields include Expiration Day (columns 28-29), Expiration Year (columns 30-31) and Exercise Style (column 39). Clearing will continue to support FTP submissions in the Position Report (P5) and users will continue to view the non-flex large trader via the same OTIS screens as is currently the case.
