ACT™ System Upgrades
|
On Friday, May 9, 2003, the Clearing Corporation will upgrade the ACT system allowing users to:
• Set a default firm and exchange combination.
• Submit transactions to clearing by either clicking on the submit button on the GUI or by pressing Enter/Return on their keyboard.
• Duplicate transaction data with the same information that appears in the same field on the above transaction line by hitting the Back-Slash key (\). Also, users will be allowed to use the Tilde key (~) to return the cursor to the first transaction data field on the next line.
• Have access to Initiate and Accept detail screens for prior-day reversals.
Additionally, the following enhancements will be added to profile functionality:
• Accept profiles will now ignore the leading zeros of the defined accept account, allowing firms to enter and maintain one profile for each account.
• Accept profile instructions will not be applied to as-of transactions.
