Please be advised that on Sunday, June 22, 2003, the Clearing Corporation is upgrading the emulation software used to access the 3270 Via the Internet application.

When downloading the application for the first time, users will need to download a certificate file to their computer. Once the upgrade is complete on Sunday, instructions on how to download the certificate can be found at http://www.botcc.com/wrq-5.1/session/. Once the certificate has been downloaded, users can run the application by clicking on the “3270 via the Internet” link from the same page. A subsequent box will appear prompting to pass an object from WRQ, the vendor of the software product. Click Yes to accept the object.

The Java application is then passed to the user’s machine, where it connects through a proxy to the Clearing Corporation host. As in the past, users will have to have Java enabled on their browser in order to utilize this application.
