Verification of ATOM Tax Data
|
The Clearing Corporation is preparing for ATOMŽ 2003 TEFRA processing. As part of this preparation, the Clearing Corporation provides firms the opportunity to review its taxpayer addresses and identification numbers maintained in the ATOM system. It is important that you verify tax information in the ATOM system before it is reported to the Internal Revenue Service (IRS). To verify the firm tax information maintained in the ATOM system, The Clearing Corporation has produced a special firm tax information report:
BFR00061F - Firm Tax Data Confirmation
This report will be available on Wednesday, January 7, 2004 in Infopac.
Firms should make every effort to verify that the tax information on file with The Clearing Corporation is correct. If updates to the tax information are required, firms will need to submit the changes in writing to Client Services and Support by email to css@clearingcorp.com or by fax at (312) 786-0152. Changes to tax information must be received prior to 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 15, 2004.
