ACT® Post LTD EFP/EFS Clearing Participant Test
|
On Wednesday, March 17, 2004, The Clearing Corporation (CCorp) is offering a training class to review the post processing of an Exchange for Physical/Exchange for Swap (EFP/EFS) for outstanding contracts entered through the ACT System. Please refer to Volume 24 – Bulletin #025. Clearing participants should also be aware that a test version of the ACT system will be available through the CCorp web site located at www.clearingcorp.com beginning Tuesday, March 16, 2004 through Thursday, March 18, 2004. To access the test environment, users should click the ‘login’ link and enter a valid user ID and password. Once authenticated, a ‘Web Selection Menu’ will appear. At this point, users will need to click the ‘Test Selection Menu’ link, further clicking on the ‘New Functionality: ACT – Allocation & Claim Transaction System’ link.
Firms, if they desire, can receive test TREX confirmation messages via MQM. The TREX messages will be identical in content to the messages sent for EFP/EFS transactions submitted through the Eurex US trading platform. The submission of adds and changes through TREX messaging from a clearing participant's back-office system via MQM will not be supported. Updates to EFP/EFS transactions for the initiating and accepting firm, as well as give-up functionality will be fully supported through the ACT System.
Furthermore, clearing participants have the ability to test misclears of EFP/EFS entered through ACT. The TREX messages will be identical in content to the misclear messages sent for trades that were executed in error on the Eurex US trading platform. Firms that wish to receive test EFP/EFS and misclear TREX messages via MQM will need to contact Client Services and Support twenty four hours in advance.
