Global Clearing Link Trade Register Enhancements
|
The Clearing Corporation (CCorp) is in the process of updating the current trade register report format to better reflect the detail associated with trades that are executed through an all electronic exchange. The new version of the updated trade register report (CLR00234F) will be available through Infopac and, upon request, can be routed automatically to a firm’s print queue. Current versions of the final trade register will continue to be produced in production, with plans to phase them out at an appropriate time.
Furthermore, clearing participants that maintain divisions (NCMs) will have the option of receiving separate trade registers for the parent firm as well as each division, thus keeping activity segregated, or merging each division’s activity into that of the parent firm’s in order to create one master trade register report, which will encompass all activity.
The new trade register report will be made available to participants during simulation, beginning 09/01/04. At that time, the current version of the trade register report produced for simulation will no longer be available. The enhancements to the trade register previously mentioned and outlined below will only affect the printed version of the trade register report. The trade register data file will remain unchanged.
